hell the only reason i even look at a buellgrrrl thread anymore is get a good laugh. I'm pretty sure that is why we're all here. I can't wait for her threads, I always enjoy watching her swim downward while trying to breathe. In any experiment there needs to be a control factor. Used to be 71sportster, now it's Buellgrrrl. What exactly was the problem? A dealership didn't stock a stator for her bike, and she's unhappy about the depreciation on a bike that is 6 model years old? I don't quite see the problem. | ||

I'm sure the BMW board follows suit with it's bikes as well..whether they have problems or not. We are here to talk about our Buells and help each other when problems arise..as they do with any machine. Sounds like a chick...from a chick, I wholeheartedly agree, I was going to say the same thing, but I am such a dude sometimes, I thought it was a little harsh.. Buellgrrrl...if you truly want help, then please just take a diplomatic approach in your quest for assistance...this isn't a board run by the corporation OR HDI..it's just us Buellers...your initial approach is one of "one of those unpleasable customers" at a retail establishment that no one really wants anything to do with, THAT is why you are getting so much negativity back...you threw crap into the wind and it blew right back atcha... try a different approach and you might get better results. | ||

I burnt through a relay at 14000 miles and had to spend a couple hours fixing it (with other people from the board, its amazing how helpful people can be if you ask nice), maybe buell should give me a new bike too. Heck, other people had to spend their valuable time to help me fix it, I don't know if I can bring myself to by another buell unless all 3 of us have XBRR's delivered to our doorsteps by erik himself with season passes to every racetrack in the world and a stipend to live off of for a year. Yes, I think that might almost be enough to make up for it..... | ||

Pwnzor, I dig your .gif animations, they make this thread worth reading. All: I must admit however that I do feel somewhat sympathetic towards Buellgrrl. It's guys like me that enable chics like her. Message to Buellgrrl: Wouldn't it be more productive to be specific about the issues you're having with your bike (I'm new to her story, pardon me)? There are way too many members of this site that have been very helpful to fellow Buell owners experiencing problems with their bike. I believe a few have offered their services on this very thread. I think you would be surprised at how quickly you're dissatisfaction with the product and brand would change to utter joy and happiness if you changed your approach with this matter.
