OK, I want a shirt like this one (worn to a recent gathering by a guy from out of province, it was given to him by a tube-frame rider and he doesn't know the origin!).
Any ideas? |

>>>Any ideas? Yes. 1998 The statement I made, in a story about Gary Valine was "we are the kids who used to hot rod '57 Chevys. We're back armed with great educations and powerful computers and we're not going away". The "we're not going away" became sort of a rallying cry and ended up on a shirt that was, at the time...perhaps more so now....pretty uncharacteristic and "over the edge". During the same period we saw the fabulous shirt with Howard Kelly doing the mondo wheelie on the 1997 red S-1. It was an awesome shirt, the likes of which I am confident we'll not see again. I think it's time Buell did another GREAT t-shirt. Anybody else? Court |

I have one that says: "It's a fast, rude ride; but then again, so is life" superimposed over the Buell logo. On the back it says "Buell of Danbury." That's one of my favorite T-Shirts. What happened to those great designs? The new ones are so boring in comparison. |

Court, I couldn't agree more. The thread of a short while back had some fantastic shirts from years past. The shirts recently (the last 4-5 years) have.. well... were.... um... just plain boring.. The older ones had character. That attribute is totally missing now. Brad |

That Buell logo looks photoshopped. It does, kinda, now you mention it. But believe me, it ain't. I cropped that bit out of the pic I took (didn't want to post the owner's mug without permission), but that's about as far as my photoshop skills extend... BTW, the guy wearing the shirt (a Badweb member too, although I don't know his "handle" here) perfectly suits the shirt--he's quite the character! Anyway, thanks for the info, guys. Guess I'll have to wait for the next one to come along. |

Any chance of continuing the history of Buell in t-shirts? I was enjoying the trip through time. |

the "photoshop effect" also comes from an unsteady hand with a digital camera. lots of things can make it look like that really. i believe it's real though from what everyone says. was just my first impression.

Hell, even staid, reserved BMW's been coming out with some clever sayings on T-Shirts lately! My favorite is "I didn't know BMW made cars until I passed one." |

Some of you may have heard me say this before... Buell needs to steal an old T-shirt idea from HD. The Buell logo surrounded by the following words... "If I Have To Explain, You Wouldn't Understand" Anyone agree? I think it would sell well (just not in pink, sorry!) Bret |

One of my BMW shirts says "I have a hairdresser, his name is helmet" I agree, we should have tshirts that match the character of the bikes. |
