What are the dates going to be? I already have a place to stay, a bike to ride, just don't have the dates so I can get my airline ticket. 1. Ducxl says he wants to go. 2.Firebolteric will go. 3.Cochise wants to go. 4.Johnnylunchbox will surely be there...... |

I can't believe I am doing this... Ummm, with the whole religious thread fiasco and supposed banning, and considering Tramp is like the head honcho/grand poo-bah of the HH-II. I will only say, don't believe everything you hear, if somebody doesn't have all the facts, they can't make the right judgements. Any other question, feel free to email me, and I will present the facts, uncut. This is all I will say on the whole deal. you folks have my REAL name and number, feel free to call me. (479)366-3062 I've got nuttin' to hide, except my underwear. |

I DO however wish to attend this event. maybe someone can email me on the dates for this, i am all ears , my bike is going for dyno time that weekend. IF this is the date PLEASE let me know so i can change plans for the dyno time if needed,((dropping it off that sunday!!!)) ------- IT TAKES ME ALMOST 4 WEEKS TO GET AN APPOINTMENT. . . . Will have a mapped route starting from Bear Mtn ( with input from the lunchbox, Saintly and so on) stop at same joint as last year, eat some chow and away we go. Joe... will need you to take care of shirt thing if you dont mind (same design 2nd annual of course). |

Oh.. and we have to put JT's shop info on there as well. The way he takes care of us here I think it would be nice payback. And get him some more exposure. |

Nice. I step in from a long flight back from Cali, and I see that my Headless Horseman Run is suddenly a "Fiasco" that needs to be taken hold of.... Seems I posted THIS: "Tramp Rating: N/A Votes: 0 (Vote!) Posted on Tuesday, July 04, 2006 - 11:43 pm: Figure the weekend of the 21-22nd of October....is Sunday or Saturday better for most? Hell- we have some col summer runs to do, as well...after Laguna." ...in a thread called "7 lakes drive" THREE weeks ago....it's in the archives.... Seems pretty straightforward to me. As to the T-shirts, They're already designed (there will be some modifications, of course, ie sponsor names, etc.). They look great. We're using the Headless Horseman graphic that Gomo used on his slideshow. very, very nice shirt this year.... Can I just leave town for three days and not come back to a yard sale? I'm sleepy. Maybe in the morning this frenetic thread will be gone... I cannot wait for the process servers who show up at this thing (Message edited by tramp on July 24, 2006) |

??? sunday's best, as that's easier for m/c shop employees. we can do a fun pre-run the day before, as well. that's always cool and often leads to some good beers or a bbq. it's not a fiasco, it's just a run that doesn't require 3 months advance notice. that's half the fun. i "finally jumped in here"? I can't take three days to kick back with my grandparents and attend a GP motorcycle race? like i say: next time, use badweb's excellent "search" utility. It's on that menu at the top right hand side of this very page, in between 'topics' and 'custodians'. so, anyway: we'll go tear-assing around on saturday, we'll kick back with some bbq and brews... i think we should set up a nice barracks this year in mort's garage, so everyone can get as sloppy as they want and not throw any legs over their machines before reverie at 0700 sunday...and lighting out to harriman state park, having had. I assume that any associated web-drama will be long cold by then, and an excellent time will, indeed, be had by all. ....long as that statik guy doesn't grab my a$s again..... |

It becomes a fiasco when trying to plan something like this. Get on bike and ride. No you are not allowed to go away.. we need you and I want a hug. Hope trip was good and look foward to hearing about it. Saturday ride maybe? |

This year I'll have route sheets, and some rudimentary maps for my side of the River Hudson. Last year we did a group ride (the cacophany of pipes must've been awesome to the onlooker or uh on..hearer). It was great, but some more or less adventurous folks may want to ride at their own pace, be it faster or slower. We'll maybe just shoot for a common time to descend upon the Horseman restaurant in Sleepy Hollow. Gomo had a great idea last year, and I want to try it out again. I want to find a nice turn, maybe on Perkins, and get shots of each bike as they pass by at full lean. It'll be a great time. I still have fond memories of HH1, and got to meet some awesome people. So bring a bike, bring a friend, or bring a friend's bike. Oh and Hammer likes donuts. |

already plans in the works for home-baked goodies, lotsa fresh coffee, and copious quantities of donuts. great idea re: several routes to one meeting place. I know that little diner was pretty modest and middle-of-the-road, but the name makes it for us all, I think. It was funny- I was in there afterward, and the manager remembered us and the sound all those buells made coming into that little lot. lemme see if I can post a new t-shirt pic.... (also, lemme know which org.s, such as badweb, atc, etc.) would like to be mentioned on the back. as Hammer points out, JT's shop needs mention... |

This is the essential template with which we're likely running: might still put the graphic on the back, as well, and there will be sponsor names, the date, etc. on there:
