Did anyone see the darn thing or not? After all, this is without doubt the most significant motorcycle to come out of America this century. For gods sake, someone put me out of my misery and tell me it ran at Laguna. Please. Pretty please Rocket |

You mean that wasn't what Nicky was riding? From the Motocyz press releases you'd have thought it was. |

It was, but the way their sales pitch and press releases talk you'd think they already owned the MotoGP racing class. I was trying (un-successfully) to be funny. |

Did the bloody thing run? That's all I want to know. Me and ten million others, that is, lol. Rocket |

I heard that it made the same number of laps as there were $100,000 deposits made. Meanwhile . . . the Buell was in 8th place. Do'ers fascinate me. |

Reg: I agree. I went ahead, joined their club, got all the stuff (and a nifty hat) in the mail and it's a damned interesting piece of engineering. Someone needs to visit with Mike and give him the benefit of what "Hanlon Hyperbole" does in the industry. The project, regardless of technical merit, could become paralyzed by inability to meet a variety of silly promises. It's sure about as fun a looking bike, in the $100,000 range, as we've seen in a while. Did it run at Laguna? I mean, not so much did they do the lap, but did they start the thing? You owe me lunch. |

I agree guys, I like the bike, it's technically interesting in both concept and in design. I am turned off by the whole battleship mouth and tug boat a$$ attitude they sling around. That's what i was trying to convey in my earlier post. |

Court... The "Hanlon" reference is perfectly applied here. I'm happy to buy you lunch... what did I do to deserve the honor? |

Court, I wasn't there this year, but they started it and ran laps last year. Jim |

Yes, they ran a lap (out of 2 planned) last year, or was it 2 years ago? Until "the flag caused too much drag and caused the bike to overheat" wasn't it? (Message edited by diablobrian on July 24, 2006) |

It was there, looked nice -did not run and no laps whatsoever. The engine is supposedly been re-engineered,it looks quite massive in the bike.Seemed very tall. The other parts were very pretty--carbon fiber work, front forks etc. Took a couple of pics but am at work today, and camera is at home. |
