Well sometime in August I am going to be putting the XB back together! I have all the parts now and Lafayette has volunteered some time to come help. I am also going to be trading my exhaust for a Force system from a friend at work. Anyone else want to join in? I will supply drinks and lunch if you want to come over and help out. Hopefully by the end of August I'll be ready to ride again! I don't think Sammie will ever be ready, but it's just something that I "have" to do. Nick | ||

Thanks guys... Don.. I am going to go with the stocker for just a while. Then if I keep the XB I'll go all out. Hey Rich... Tell the Vegas crowd I said hello and that I am at least back on two feet now! I hear it's been tooo hot to do much riding out there so far. | ||

Vegas, I'm so glad to hear you're getting back on a bike! Make sure the force is the second generation or it'll break on you if history is any guide. Be sure to give a full accounting of your first time back on 2 wheels. Mine was an almost religious experience. | ||

Dana: it's good to hear people still wonder. LOL I am doing better all the time. Brian: How can I tell which pipe it is? He has been running it for a while with no issues. I'll be sure to write a big story for sure. I have mixed emotions about that first ride. I have noticed that I am way more gun shy that I used to be even in the car. | ||

Vegas- glad to hear you are doing better. I will be more then willing to give you a hand, I will be moving to Ocala with in the month cause I just got a job down there so I will need to find some stuff to do and people to ride with. My new job starts the 21st of august but im going to try to get down there before that to appt hunt. let me know when and where. | ||

Nick, it's great to hear the good news. When you get a few spare minutes, could you post a fairly comprehensive post about how your recovery is coming along? From what I infer, it seems that you're driving again. That's incredible progress! Are you walking with a cane still? How are you feeling? What still doesn't work like it should? You know, all the questions that Inquiring Minds (and Nosy Bastards) want to know. |
