Done buying CD's is there a legal place to buy complete albums in mp3 format. All I can find is the kinda dubious russian and chinese sites......I worry bout giving them any credit card info. I refuse to buy an Ipod so don't mention that fruit filled company. |

i use mp3sugar.com, i never have any problem, and they are cheap as hell, a whole cd for 99cents i do notice the files are a bit larger than others, i am not sure if they are a higher rate or not, but they are about twice the size of usual files |

i've been an emusic.com subscriber since '03. love it. $19.99/mo. for 103 tracks. mostly indie labels though so check around to see if its your thing. can't beat the prices if they have stuff you're into. |

don't mention iTunes because they limit you to 128bit - not even CD-quality. Anyone selling an mainstream album for $1.99 is a pirate. |

Anyone selling an mainstream album for $1.99 is a pirate. And someone selling a shiny disc of pablum for $18 is not? |

Selling a non-essential item for a high price is not piracy. Stealing said item, then reselling it certainly is. Kind of hard to justify participating in rewarding the thieves and stealing from the artists when Napster/iTunes etc will sell you the songs for cheap. |

MP3s sound terrible. If you play them through computer speakers or a cheap set of headphones you won't notice how bad they really are. You would be better off buying CDs and converting them to MP3. I wouldn't play MP3s through my vintage Sansui AU-20000. You wanna talk about awesome sound quality this thing has it in spades. Looking to get a different set of speakers to improve things even more. Vintage JBLs seem to work really well. Anybody wanna trade a set of JBLs for an 83 YZ 250?:-) Regards Mike |
