The AMA flat track series finally comes to my hometown, and I stoked!! Taking the whole family. Wife, 5 year old and 1 year old. Don't know why but I check the website of the track to check cooler requirement and such. I can't believe what I see " ALL spectators MUST have ticket regardless of age". Now I not putting a price on family time or pleading poverty, But $52 dollars for a 1 and 5 year! I know when we go to VIR for the superbike races there are no charges for the kids, so what gives? |

It isn't the AMA that sets the ticket prices, or the age policy. It's the track. Bitch at them. Maybe they'll get some smarts. If not, then drive over to Hagerstown, MD in a couple of weeks. I know they have a more sensible admission policy; and a pretty neat track, as well. |

That's highway robbery. The kids get nothing out of the races, except maybe bored 15 minutes after the green flag flies (if they last that long) I think in the end they're cutting their own throats in the revenues lost with all the parents that would go, but won't now. We'll see, but not from the stands. I have 3 kids, and i won't be going to Sedalia at those prices. |

Money money money, they can not get the crowds so they think raising prices will still make them money. It is only a matter of time b-4 that bites them where it hurts. If the track says they do not make money hosting an event, it wont be long b-4 they will stop hosting that event. Then everyone looses out, the fans and the racers. |
