For years I've been using Escorts in the 4 wheelers, what are you using on the 2's? Also looking for some mounting suggestions for the M2. Not much in the way of flat surfaces that fact face in the right direction, nor any place to hide it! Thanks, Andrew |

A GPS based detector with laser capability. If such things exist in the US, GPS is the way to go. I had the Valentine 1 for several years. Not a patch on a GPS detector. Rocket |

without the stationary radar sites (gatsos) the gps capability isn't really a bonus here in the states, unless it's a color lcd style gps that you can use for navigation. I've seen the guardian angel(?) that keeps tack of active gatsos and even updates periodically and if i was living in the UK I'd have to have something like that to keep me out of jail. |

Gatso refers to particular types of fixed camera. There are many other types of cameras used in the UK. GPS locator's are the only way to absolutely know for certain where the cameras are in proximity to you. Mobile and hand held devices are a different matter, and Road Angel 2 has the laser detecting capability. That said, Valentine is rated better for laser detection, but usually with laser detection when your detector is screaming 'laser' at you it's too late as you're the target and your speed is already logged.
