"That motorcycling is a social good."? LOL...while I agree and barring horrible weather will indeed ride to work that day (and any day), that sentence just isn't right. |

I ride to work as often as I can, barring terrible weather or having to carry pieces of equipment larger than my laptop. |

Besides the Peterbilt, the Buell is my primary mode. Missus drives the car. |

I used to ride to work everyday, then I opened my own business and work from home. However, I can usually find a daily excuse to go pick up something and take a ride. |

PRECISELY. Although it's still hovering just below $3 a gallon around here. Hmm...truck gets like 14MPG city, or bikes both get 45+... I just hate it when I know I'm gonna have to go somewhere that requires me dragging along both my tools and my schematics/prints. I CAN get all the crap on my bike, but it's a PITA. |

Don't own a car anymore, so rain, shine, hot, or cold, it's ride to work day. Glad to see so many others having as much fun. |

Eh...as much as I'd like to be able to ride year round, I still enjoy having four seasons. |

It's just too damn hot to ride to work for most of the summer. Can't be all sweaty when I show up at the office. Besides, my car gets around 45 MPG. I love my bike, but it's just not practical to ride to work any more. |

My bikes gets about 35K miles a year put on them. Car gets about 10K. I haven't put gas in it for a month. Without a doubt I will be ridin' on the 19th. |

I ride almost every day to work(which consists of an all day long boat ride). And to think I get paid to fish!

I had a goal in mind at the 1st of the year... To only run *ONE* tank of gas thru my Dodge Ram 4x4 in 2006... I currently have 100 miles on the truck. I've had to drive it to work 6 times IIRC this year. |

I've had to drive my cars only for utility related purposes. The only commute I've had to drive a car for was for a couple of days getting my header stud replaced and when my belt broke. Other than that, Every day to work since February, and in Minnesota it gets cold! 90 degrees today though. |

ride mine every day, even when i HAD my Jeep (it was hit/totaled while parked in front of house). So now just only have the bike and havn't looked back. I guess eventually i'll get another car but havn't been too motivated... the weather here in southern California been great most of the time. |
