Anyone catch SuperBikes on speed?? In particular, the first piece?? It was on a guy (Sands, I believe) who was using twin-cam 88 H-D motors and putting them in a trelis (spelling?) frame. He claimed the geometry was based on a gixxer. The bikes looked wicked cool!! Oh yeah, the also did a piece on Barber Motorsports. (Message edited by Paint shaker on July 11, 2006) |

Roland was working on that bike idea on one of the Biker build off shows with Johhny Chop, nice to see it completed. As for the show.. It's missing something, too bland needs something more but cant put my finger on it. I dont see it going too much further the way it is. more than a half hour would be a start as well |

I did notice 2 wheel tuesday motorcycle programming was...minimal to say the least. More like "Tuner Tuesday" |

that show is a poor substitute for 2 wheel tues,! they will run out of material quickly, the last episode should have had more info on the museum at Barber. The Ducati thing was at least interesting. I miss Greg White!! |

Last night was much better than the first episode but then again so was last week. I'll be interested to see how long it lasts and I wonder if they'll get to the dragon before speed cancels the series |

I had more fun watching Corbin's and the tour of Italy on Moto Guzi's myself. |

I should have titled this thread "Rolands Sands Builds Sportbikes with twin cam motors".... Too bad the show couldn't have focused more on his bikes. They looked kick @ss!!! |

The show is pathetic. I'm sorry, but here we are with all kinds of really cool motorcycle stuff going on in the US, and this is the best we can get?! Hopper, KR Junior, Nicky, and Colin in MotoGP, top Europpean racers coming here to ride, Buell motorcycles against the world, and all we get is fat bald "street stunters" and choppers disguised as sport bikes. And we're supposed to be happy because it's better than Texas Hardtails? No wonder they took the "vision" out of Speedvision! It's like watching freakin' poker on ESPN. Sport, sport, sport...where is it? Speed, speed, speed...where is it? |

How to melt your sneaker riding a motorcycle. I agree with anony. I liked Greg's old 1 hour show the best by far. Less infomercial, more interesting moto coverage. |
