I replied more in depth on your other thread, but I'll put it here too. If you want the image to be in your post, like Glitch did, you need to use this command: \ imagelink {url of image here} Just dont use any spaces like I did. Good lookin bike btw. Some details? |

Yes please give us the details on the bike for those of us who are not as familiar with the older bikes. Beautiful ride, I must say. What exhaust is that? details, details. |

If that's an older bike, I hate to think what he'd be callin' me. Or even FMJ. |

Supertrapp? Where are the plates? Are they inside the pipe? Also, what kind of bike is it? Year, Model, etc. |

Pw: That is an X1, likely either a '99 or 2000 plated pushrod tubes were superseeded(sp) in '01 Mods that are visible: Tail clean up, plastic plate support removed. header has been coated or painted hugger and belt guards removed. may have the last recall shock Custom Saddle possible Corbin. The "plates" you are refering to are inside the end under the cap, and it appears to be the later version with the beefed up tapered end. Not sure about which wheels it has either Marchiseni(?) or Cast alloy, some varients shipped with PM wheels (Polish Me) Looks kinda like Dunlop tires, Possible changed timing cover, 99 - 00 had a longer shift linkage that goes over the top of the primary.[ not visible ] XB9er Welcome to the madness Enjoy that fine scoot! |

Hehehe, while XB9er is away, Toona can play! I'll have to keep the carbon from building up in the cylinders and make sure the tires stay round, ya know! BTW, XB9er works for me (sometimes ) and stores his bike at my shop. It was a great deal from Sideshow Bob http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/210483.html?1152276006 It was going to be a second bike, but Chris (XB9er) did some convincing that he really NEEDED this bike. This Buell is in good hands for a long, LONG time. Now, if I could just keep one of these "second" bikes for myself. This is the second "second" bike that my employees "just had to have". Must the that addictive Buellish Grin" when I get back from the rides. Hard to believe this bike has 31,000 on it. Pat (previous owner) took great care of it. The only other mod is the '01 shifter, not visible in the pic. |

Thanks Oldog. Only way I can learn is by asking questions. I must admit that some of the older bikes don't do much for my eyes. But that is a real beauty. Congrats on the purchase. |
