I'm vacationing here in Upstate VT for 3 weeks. Saw two Buells so far... A Blue S2T in Newport last friday I believe. I also saw a Yellow S2 around Albany today.

Anyone from here?

Thanks Dora.

We rented a Heritage Softail Thurs and Fri and rode around a bunch. It's no Buell, but it was better than nuttin' Toni had trouble adjusting to being a passenger : )

The roads around here are OUTSTANDING!

check out 100 south through vermont, then west on 9 into new york and turns into 7 and starts heading a bit south take that to 278 east, then hook onto 2 east which is UNBELIEVABLE at the NY/MA line. continue on 2 east through MA and you have several options to head back north in VT. scenic ones are 112 or 8a. quick and easy is interstate 91.

i'm jealous........

We took 100 IIRC down to around waitsfield. But as ya know, there has been a TON of rain this part of the country. So it kinda limited the riding a bit.

I wish somebody rented Buells in this area : )

If you take 100 down into Waitsfield, make sure to hang a right onto Route 17 at the southern end of waitsfield. This will take you on some roads that were made for Buells, and up and over the appalachian gap.

Johnny, thanks, but unfortunately, I don't have the Buells here : (

Tramp, I didn't do smugs this year.I wasn't real comfortable riding that behemouth softail 2 up through it in pouring rain : )

But I've been through smugs in the past. Simply gorgeous.

If you get a chance to ride into R.I. there are some very nice places down around Newport, Portsmouth, little Compton and Bristol. Very, very nice part of New England up around there.
