I had high hopes for it. I figured it would be a bunch of young guys/gals showing off their riding prowess. Other than the hosts' skills it was pretty disappointing. Since I am now well beyond my twenties I thought I could watch and dream of being young and indestructable again. Instead I got a bunch of guys about the same age as me, trying to ooze machismo (talking about their propensity for violence, give me a freakin' break). Unfortunately that boat left the harbor when we hit 35 and our hair started falling out. Lets face it. A middle aged, chubby, balding man just can't compare to the young guns in the eyes of a nimble lass (or Hooters waitress for that matter). |

I liked it, we now have a free weekly stunt video. It is much more like my world than those dumb%$& V-Twin lifestyle shows. Not that I'm out picking bar fights, but I love reefing on my bike, and I love bikes built for performance rather than show. Jason is a very cool guy. He rode with all the Orange County sportbike regulars in the 1990's when I was out there. I'm not sure when he started getting paid for it, but he has been a great stunt rider for a long time. He never had a punk attitude at all, just a regular guy that loved riding and worked at the local Suzuki dealership. |

I have much respect for those who can control their bikes like that. I'd like to be able to do it myself. But I care as much about watching that show as I do east/west coast chopper building. I want a show highlighting the technical aspects of, and the lives surrounding, road racing (privateer to full factory efforts in all classes). A few segments on high performance riding techniques with visual demonstrations wouldn't hurt either. IMHO, shows like Superbikes are only going to proliferate the negative stereotypes stunters have and carry them over further to all bikers within the small minds of cagers. We need to be elevating the image of the sport (like MotoGP tries so hard to do), not dishing it out to jackasses to squander. TWO THUMBS DOWN. |

The show looked okay, its not my "thing" though. I like that they go way over the edge, showing wheelies and burnouts etc, with only minimal reference to "don't try this at home". I wonder how it is that programming is so expensive they can't do more than a 1/2 hr of Motorcyle TV. Hey Speed, how about a 1/2 hr for road racers, Mxers, Stunters (covered), Vtwins (covered)? |

mostly Thumbs down a guy talking about safe and defensive riding with no lid and his jacket unzipped. An Irish aerospace engineer (yeah sure) building "totally engineered" street fighters- looked like he just puts gsxr forks on everything and then adds ugly euro accessories.... The stunt riding was just ok..... |

I thought it was different, a very unique "stunter show" if you will. I have alot of respect for someone who can control their motorcycle like that, BUT it does not give motorcycling a good name when you are out in public streets tearing shit up like that. If you are going to stunt or wheelie or screw around like that and put it on TV you should do it responsibly and do so on a closed course. I am suprised Speed Channel gave them the OK to do a show like this. I did like it, but its like giving "squids" the Ok to screw around on city streets. Sure beats Texas Hardtails! |

You know when I was younger I used to wheelie a lot.....on rural, deserted roads. I can't do it anymore, but that's beside the point, I never took that kind of chance with other peoples safety. There are people that have pretty good control, but even Craig Jones' and Gary Rothwell's bikes hit the deck once in a while. So doing stunts in traffic is both irresponsible and inexcusable, no matter how good the rider is. In an empty parking lot or blocked off street sure, but not in traffic, at least not on purpose. Accidental stoppies and power wheelies are not the same thing. The wannabe coverage of the "Rats", give me a break. I did like the Bike shop/tattoo parlor/bar except for the drinking-riding connection. All in all....no sale. Speed needs to try again. |

Oldog, I've been a rider for 25yrs and I did 6yrs in the Navy, yet I still don't have any tats. How did that happen? I haven't seen any one piece of art I'd want on my body for the rest of my life yet Guess I'm not a "Superbike(r)" |

I really enjoy stunting, but not on the street. It's just squidly stupid. I've got some stunting CD's that put those guys to shame. I thought the first guy's "street fighters" were hideous looking. The rat bike club was just a bunch of dopey guys hanging out. The commentator put me to sleep. The whole production was amateurish at best. They focused on every aspect of antisocial behavior associated with sport bikes. I really enjoy the speed channel but I think this one's a looser. I'll give it another chance next week, but I don't think this one's for me. |

Sorry. Greg didn't shine all of the time, but his show was much better than this one. A half hour of wheelies, burnouts, stoppies, and drinking/riding, all on the street, no thanks. And trying to impress everyone w/their rat bikes and past fights? Smart. Appealing. All under the guise of "Don't try this at home". Give me a break. |

Did anyone else notice that the host didnt look very comfortable around the "Rats" when they were oozing their machismo?? I really dont think Speed even picked the right guy to host if they are going to be sending him to interview these types of hooligans. I am hoping for the host and the show they actually interview and showcase the kind of people and riding He does on a normal basis. It all just looked akward to me. |

VERY SURPRISED Speed Channel allowed this to air...This puts a rather negative , trashy slant to Sportbike riders...if this is what were cast as no wonder they pulled Greg.I liked it when 2Wheel Tuesday was an hour long .We got to meet the riders , see short pieces on teams, catch up on the racing news and actually LEARN something.Sure some of you didn't like Greg...thats bound to happen when someone sticks their nose out and tries to talk about our favorite pastime!Did everyone like Dave Despain? or any of the announcers we've had lately? I'm sure not! But at least they try!!! I , for one , appreciated all that the show was , untill they cut it to 1/2 an hour with 20 minutes of commercials.I don't think we'll have to worry about the general public "Typecasting" us because of this show however.....they are all busy watching the "Nascar segments. Not that there is anything wrong with ANY kind of racing , I just think theres WAY TOO MUCH of it on Speed.......(just my 2 and a half cents!) |

Captpete sez: "A middle aged, chubby, balding man just can't compare to the young guns in the eyes of a nimble lass (or Hooters waitress for that matter) Unless he pulls his wallet out." Or shows them his business card. Actually, young lasses going for the middle aged guy is not all that uncommon...something about knowing what to do when they are hurtin' and not being a juvenile goes a long way. Its the stuff of legend... jimidan |

I could tell from the promos for this show that it was going to be another FOX fiasco, and it delivered! Suck. I would rather watch folks eat bugs. I miss my 2Wheeled Tuesdays...in fact, I miss my old SPEED Channel. jimidan |

Well I'm glad I didn't choose to watch this show. From what I hear here , it's just what I thought it would be, Crap! I miss Greg. Mike and I looked forward to his show every week. Even though it was down to 1/2 hour, it still gave us info and some great interviews. |
