Just got back Sunday. I bought an '03 xb9s with 200 miles on it at at Flint River Harley in Georgia last tuesday and rode it back to Seattle. The bike ran flawlessly! Most of the ride was on interstates however I did take some detours and found some curves. I've owned over 20 bikes in my life including Triumphs, Guzzys, a Bsa, Gpz 1100, Yamaha xs750e, Honda v45, The xb9s is hands down the most incredible bike I've been on. I love it! Looking forward to some great rides. Any Buellers in Seattle area? Pete |

Pete, Congrats on the XB. I too just picked up a new to me 1998 Buell S3. I rode it home in approx 30 hrs and 1699 miles. Counting the Boat Ride to cross over to the island it was about 38hrs. Congratulations and welcome to the insanity. |

Peter, was that their yellow demo bike by any chance? If so, that's the first Buell I ever rode. Congrats on the purchase at any rate. There was a rumor in the XB Forum a week or two ago that Flint River had dropped Buell. Glad to see that's not true. |

The people at Flint River were great. The bike I bought is a 2003 black xb9s and I've been having a great time on the backroads of my hometown Vashon Island. Lots of twisties. Hav'nt scraped pegs yet but I'm getting real close. I've been scraping my left shoe when I forget and leave it in upshift position. Most fun I've had on a bike. |

I'm glad you're this happy with your purchase, it was a gutsy move to fly out and ride the bike back without first having a chance to acclimate yourself to the bike. You Da MAN! |
