Can anyone help me find the add on tach for the 2000 M2 and any other info on these machines would be great I just bought it and would love to hear some info on this machine |

i have an available tach, speedo and aluminum mount from a '98. not sure if that tach will work with it... anyone? buellers? |

The speedo will work, but the aluminum mount will not. All of the 99-02 M2s have the key on the dash. There is a spot for the trip reset, but no spot for the ignition on those aluminum units. *stated aloud using voice of comic book guy from the Simpsons* |

Last I knew you could get the factory kit to add a tach to a M2 from a Buell. List was around $180 but I bought a new one from a dealer for closer to $150. Comes with the mount and everything needed and gives you a pair of matching instruments that look and work beautifully. If you search the KV for M2 tach you can come up with the part number of the kit, or check with DaveS at Appleton H-D on the sponsor's page. Jack |
