Where can I see BUELLs race? What web link can I go to , to see BUELLs in action? How are the XB longs performing? What is the top speed on a XB with just a stage one mod? I've been looking at a few S2s a 95 & a 96...but then the XB long sure looks good...but what are the pros & cons....I can get a S2 for thousands less than a new XB but I do not know BUELLS like I know Sportys....Help me out. Buells race all over, from club racing to the AMA Formula Extreme. Check Buell . com for racing info. XB longs seem to be doing quite well. About 140 ish. But thats not where the fun is. |

CCS/ASRA is the major national Club in which Buells typically race. AHRMA, WERA, AFM also but the major supporter of Twins is CCS/ASRA (I'd pump up Willow Springs but we're out here in CA) |

Dogman, an S-2 is a Sporty engine with a bit more power due to better breathing and a sportbike chassis with top shelf suspension and brake components. Not to mention the sexy bodywork. I have lots of miles on mine and enjoy it immensely. That said you can get an XB on the cheap (a 9 that is) if you shop. |

(hi steve, we're all over the same threads these days, aren't we? ) once you decide to attend a race, the race to watch for and that buells do really well in is thunderbike. they also do well in lighweight supersport, supertwins. other classes have some buells, but the mix creates a much more competitive situation and buells strengths may/may not be showcased depending on the track configuration (curvier and more technical is better) D |

"curvier and more technical is better" and it's also a good thing to look for when considering which tracks the Buells will do well on remember these classes: Lightweight GP GT Lights Lightweight supersport Lightweight superbike Thunderbike and sometimes supertwins. when the RR hits the club races I think it'll race with the middleweights.} |
