Do you? If yes, what's your technique? Rev, drop the clutch and yank? Or does it just come up as it climbs the torque curve? What mods do you have on your M2? Thanks! |

M2's will not wheelie, too long of a wheelbase, need's to be more around 52" |

M2's will not wheelie Sez who? I can hoik mine up on the throttle, the mikuni helps but I could do it with the stock setup too. Just a big handful of throttle & yank it up in 1st, (Of course having a back brake & using it can help in these situations) |

I had an M2 before my xb..Second gear .. 32mph pull in clutch ... open throttle and dump clutch.....It will go straight to bp....oh and cover that rear brake....It will easily do 1st gear but you rev out quick and the landing is way hard.. |

dip the clutch and whack the throttle. be prepared to beat up your steering-head bearings if you are just learning |

Hit the 2nd gear shift just under redline, BUT cover the rear brake. Be ready to hit third, fast, to let it down easy. ( also way over the city speed limit. Off road only & all that, right? ) A real hard landing could rip the shock mount out of the cases. Not often, but once is expensive. Painful maybe too. If the tune is decent, I can bounce the front end simply by chopping & twisting the throttle, getting in sync with the bounce. It's my "I'm bored with traffic" trick. 3rd/4th gear at 35-45. I also know that it's a stupid human trick, & I should not do it. Fanning the clutch at full throttle brings the front up too, but that can be a wee bit wild. ( once was enough to scare me, It's dumb ) Oh yeah, you can yank & crank but that's cheating. |

I couldn't get my old M2 to stop doing wheelies. Takes a little more work on the CityX though. Ken |

I don't know about an M2, but since i changed my x-1 skins to black it sure wheelies a lot easier. It also has 6 mph more on the top end. Black is definately faster than red |
