Just went on the BFAM ride. We rode about 250 miles (round trip) of MOSTLY mountain roads. We headed up 190 through Springville, then to Johnsondale, Fairview, Kernville, around Lake Isabella, 155 to Glennville, then up to Posey, and White River. Back home through Fountain Springs then back roads home. The ride was freaking outstanding!!!!!! VERY LITTLE traffic, great mountain roads, great day. Just thought I would share... It is amazing, I have spent my whole life here (Central Cal) and have never been on those roads before...I can guarantee that I will be on them again though. If you are in the central Cal area, North-East of Bakersfield, the ride is definitely worth while.... Oh yeah, BFAM stands for Brother From Another Mother...me and a good friend of mine were the only ones that went.... Jason (Message edited by Essthreetee on June 11, 2006) |
