You can be THE custodian, as far as I'm concerned. When you've finished mopping and waxing the hallway, see what you can do with those bad ballasts in room 107 - the flickering is making it hard to read. "He's made a mess of things around here" Please advise on the specifics of that. meaning what specifically was done to make a mess of the place? Expressing my own opinion in opposition to that of a sponsor? That really does get to the heart of the matter. Out one side of the mouth I hear that I don't do enough to honor and protect a sponsor, then out the other side of the mouth I hear that I too rigorously cater to sponsors. Which is it I wonder? I guess it depends on what one's specific motives are at the time. I try very diligently to be consistent with my motives. That is guaranteed to •••• off folks on both sides of the issue, which I seem to have done very well. Not sure any one policy concerning board sponsorship would be able to avoid that kind of scenario. If you know one, one that will also continue to support the onging existance and maintenance of the place, I'd love to hear it. I'd appreciate any thoughtful counsel on how we can improve the place, whether by taking actions previously untaken or ceasing behavior that is problematic. You are a successful entrepreneur, put together a business plan for the optimum success of BadWeB and let's hear it. Just claiming you can do it ain't good enough, though I'm sure you would do just fine too. And for the record, I like Busas. I just like my Cyclone better. | ||

Um this may be sticking my oar in where it's not wanted but here goes. Snail & Blake you obviously know each other fairly well, might I suggest one of you picks up the phone & dials the other for a friendly chat, things may be resolved a lot quicker & more amicably that way. I've one problem with anyone from Sacborg moderating BadWeB. They'd have to be considered partly on their performance as participants over there. I'm not sure Snail would make the grade in this case. He also seemed to have a problem with understanding my posting, to his dislike, in a recent thread he started. Consequently, what kind of custard pie would he make without the ability to see both sides of the coin? Those issues aside, my gut instinct tells me it would only be a matter of time before it ended in tears anyway. Rocket | ||

If anyone really feels the need to criticize others here, they should start a thread on the Quick Board specifically for that purpose. I am so sick and tired of all the consternation, indignation, and divisiveness; yeah I'm guilty of it too to some degree. It is difficult when I see folks lying about my own views and statements. how many times does one member have to be told he's out of line, asked not to attack others, requested not to deride the people of badweb, etc., before he gets what the forum rules tell us that a repeat offender gets? i've had my account suspended, politely, because i broke the rules and behaved like a moron. i 'signed' the virtual agreement stating thati wouldn't repeat the attacks. i screwed up, and accepted it, as i should. now we've got a repeat offender who simply won't stop, who seems well above the forum rules. what will it take? |
