3 days at Americade. more buells than last year!!! the biggest difference in bikes seems to be the number of step-through's, specifically the suzuki burgman. i hesitate to call these things scooters because i think some of them can top 100mph. they are even making trikes out of the things. suzuki must be selling these as fast as they can make them (either that or they were "all" at lake george). only one area of disappointment, local business's gouging, $32.00 for two plain pizza's, $25.00 for a twelve pack, $700.00 for 3 night in a "cheap" hotel. WOW!! i own two small businesses and i have never treated a customer this way. you need to make a profit to survive but c'mon. not all of the locals were doing this though, we did find a terrific local italian restaurant that had "normal" prices in effect, not special "biker" prices. next year i'll stay a town or two over to avoid the special biker add-ons. all in all i would highly recommend americade as a riding vacation, the roads in the area are fantastic(for any type of bike). |

You need to get out and explore! Route 9 and 9L are beautiful roads and are easily accessable from Glens Falls to the south or Warrensburg to the north. Stay in one of those towns. I lived in Glens Falls for many years, my Mom still lives there. You just need to get aways from the mainstream to find good deals. I'll be up there this August enjoying some of them twisties. Route 4 from Glens Falls over to White River Junction VT is an excellent example. |

your guess was right. it was routed wrong. actually ground into the support bracket for the coil. may have worn through the plug wire too (it misses in the rain). i ordered the plug wire too just to be safe. gonna check with jeff now. |

cable was worn all the way through! maybe woodstock sold the coil and when they dropped in a new one they just tightened it down on top of the cable. |
