getting x-rays on the finger as it might be broken. the hospital staff is having a hard time keeping spideys pants on, as he keeps disrobing, asking for the assless hospital night gown. the staff has to keep explaining to him that he doesnt need to wear a gown for a finger injury...apparently he doesnt believe them. grimace, lake and the one and only spiderham. |

SpiderHam...Oh, does that bring back memories of all my encounters with Spidey. Does he still carry a backpack full of parts and tools for Mary Jane or did he leave them at home because there was no BattleTrax this year? Hey Spidey...Get well soon, Dude!!! Hmmm...wonder if that was his "Sacborg Finger." (Message edited by outrider on June 04, 2006) |

I don't know why I'm surprised, something bad had to happen this weekend besides a hydraulic fluid fire!
Get well soon, that's gonna be a bitch to eat buffalo wings at Hooters with a raw finger, but something tells me you'll still try. |

that's gonna be a bitch to eat buffalo wings at Hooters with a raw finger Wrong!!! Spidey will have all the Hooter's gals holding the wings while he sensuously licks the chicken off. Trust me on this one. He will turn that little temporary handicap into a major pick-up scenario and I can't wait to read his memoirs. |

Mike Hale didn't race the Buell this weekend but Dave Estok did as he got to fill in for Hale. Heres a shot with him and I before the race....nice approachable fella.

To bad Estok didn't do better. Talking to him he had only been on the bike twice and he was apparently having some setup issues but he was very optimistic and anxious to race it. |

Why was Brad's S2 on a trailer? Or did he not ride it over? Just curious. |

nice schweitzer. how come whenever miltary personnel are at dinner with a lady, they're no longer cooks or mechanics, and are suddenly EOD techs and Top Gun Pilots? BG- you shoulda challenged 'em to a race... |

Well....Spidey is probably still sleeping right now. We didn't get out of the ER until after 3pm yesterday. He decided to give it a rest for the night instead of pushing on toward Detroit. I'm sure he'll be posting some lovely pictures of the mayhem tomorrow. I had a great time meeting new friends and getting reacquanted with old friends!!! |

Man, Now I really feel bad! When we left (about the same time as Buellgirlie) the bandages were going on and looked like Spidy was going to leave shortly after that. His bike was packed and ready to go. Seeing as he was helping load my trailer, I kind of feel responsible. He will not have a comfortable ride home... IaMike, the bike was OK, my frame however was a bit tweeked all weekend. I see the Dr. again tomorrow to find out what the heck is going on. All those get off's during my ill spent youth on dirt bikes is now coming back to haunt me. It was great to finally put a face to so many folks. It was a great time however it seemed to go much too fast. I'll post more later, I'm at work and really behind... Brad |

Ditto here !! |

Well, I feel bad, too. Spidey and I were lifting the rear of the bike, got it on the trailer, when all of a sudden he's showing us his mangled finger. Well Spidey, now you have something to counteract the farmer's tan. Oh, hey, at least that finger still works! I had a great time( except for playing chicken with a few semis, dodging police, and getting left behind twice). I wish I could have introduced myself to more of you. Dennis, sorry about the close call, I was frazzled from wrestling with semis. Next time, maybe we could form a second group to go down. |

Brad, A buddy that used to ride rodeo told me "If I knew I'd live this long, I'd taken better care of myself!" I know the feeling. Get well. You too Spidey. |

Spiderman, I have never met you in person, but I have talked to you on the Phone to ask you some dumb questions, Dude, that finger had to be throbbing all the way home. I hate riding the grate over the bridge on a good day on a bike, I can imagine that the "Anti-Throbbing" medicine must have made for an interesting "Jump-Da-Bridge" for you! Hope you recover fast. |

Spidey...Glad to see good friends and you got to the ER. My folks were the one's that were into alcohol and band aids unless they saw bone. Take care and let the Hooter's Gals do all the heavy lifting for you! |

You too Rex!! No meds yet, it isn't throbbin that bad so I am gonna stay off them as much as possible. I woulda put a bandaid on it and rode home, but a first response EMT was staying at the hotel and suggested I get it looked at. I am kinda glad I did, cause the broken bone is close enough to the wound to cause a bone infection which can take me down real quick. And the only lane open on the big ol' bridge was the grated lane. That's a nice feeling for my first Mackinac Bridge crossing LOL... BTW the Throttle Rocker Kicks a$$!! |
