I was wondering if anyone carries an extra belt on long trips.
How tight of a bend can a belt take before the kevlar strands break?

I was thinking of coiling one up under my X1 seat.

One more thing: I was wondering how much wear is ok on the front pulley. I noticed that mine has some wear on it. (66,000 miles)
I fear that I might be killing my belt with a worn pulley.

Or perhaps I should just relax and ride it?

If I remember correctly, this question was brought up a while back. I think the consensus was coiling or bending your belt is not a good idea.

If you're really worried you can always convert to a chain. Other than that, I say relax and ride!

Bending any belt other than the '06 Goodyear by folding it under the seat is a very bad idea. The new belt will tolerate it.
