i wouldn't attempt a new website for all the tea in china.
(...which is why I suggested blake get buelligan of the year, as opposed to anyone profiting from the buell marque).
running this site has to be a thankless task of pure passion.... the nesuing hypocrisy seems to come less from the top..... |

I'm not sure what all the whining is about...
I'm usually too busy riding to get on the board on a regular basis. Arn't you guys?
When I do get on the board, I do find that the threads are properly named, and I can tell which ones will be bullshitt and which ones will be informative.
I do read the bullshitt ones because I find them entertaining. It amazes me the crap some people will sling at others, in an online forum, and the opinions and attitudes attached to that crap. 
Like I said, I find it entertaining between rides...
So y'all keep rattling them sabers and circling the wagons, I sure do need the entertainment when relaxing after a long ride to nowhere. 
Now I'm off to Colorado to enjoy some beautiful mountain curves, with some great folks...

Jerry...Don't resign as custodian. That would be counter productive.
You guys just had a rough day, survived and probably have both benefited from the experience.
The best thing that could evolve from this episode is that others will think a little more before they post. Trust me, I wish I had a few years ago! |

I'm purdy sure that jerry h., brineusaf and me hold no ill feelings toward one another, and are, in fact, getting along fine. all 3showed human stupidity, and all 3 showed a good high-road dropping of the whole matter. how 'bout we leave it at that?
hell, I don't even know these two... it'd be nice to meet 'em, though. |

I'm here for the biting sarcasm and the rapier wit along with the occasional motorcycle-related topic. I find the gratuitous puffing of smoke up certain individuals' bungholes around here to be disgusting if not extremely boring. 
If getting along means we have to see more of these crappy "Vote for the Buelliest Bueller or the Badwebbiest Badwebber" threads, I say bring on the drama! |

Memory always make the past look greener. Two years ago was when the "political" threads had to be dropped because the site heavys would always wade into the mix and pound on anyone who strayed from the ultra-conservative Christian fundamentalist line. I had to abandon my participation for a time after that.
The political debate was OK, but the underlying general meanness was over the top, really. |
