NHIS has a 99dBa noise limit. I have a D&D slipon that seems pretty loud, and I am concerned that it might be too loud. Has anyone dealt with this before? |

Go to your local car audio shop and ask them to hold the db meter near the bike when you rev it. |

The D&D is one of the loudest pipes they make for Buells. Beson/Rhinehart and Force Pipes are tho only ones louder. They did sound level testing at the shootout, when it's posted you'll have a good idea of just how the different pipes compare. |

D&D = LOUD... I know I have gotten my chops busted for noise when I lived in Virginia Beach.... the only argument I ever had, is, "At least I have a muffler, not like......" Yeah, you are over the 99db limit... The full system seems a *quieter*, though, but I am going deaf anyway , so take thatn with a grain of salt... Chase |
