Nallin said yesterday that the turn around time for having porting work done is currently two weeks. Are they good about keeping to quoted time frames? Quality of work? |

If he has given you a time. You can be assured he will do his BEST to do so. The turn around time will not include shipping to and from. jmho |

"Their billet is up to aaomy standards" WOW???? i have never worked with nallins but hold them in the highest regards.. i would not hesitate to send them anything... if you want your buell treated like a buell i wound not even consider another shop, otherwise its just a sporty to them... i may do nice work but have only 1/10 the tools they have to play with.. if what i do is art,, then theirs is science,, thank you for the vote of confidence, but they have been doing it way longer.. only hope that i can live up to the statement that aaomy is up to nallins standards... |

With all due respect to NRHS, who I would not hesitate to do business with for a second, you can safely assume that all our valued sponsors here on the board (not the least of which is Pammy at CycleRama) will also most certianly treat your Buell like a Buell, and also have a fantastic reputation for going over and above to do the right things for their customers. It's a pretty safe bet that if a sponsor is going to to time, trouble, and money to sponsor a site where so many people can do business with them and then speak freely about the experience, that you can have confidence that you are going to get great work and great service. |

reepicheep,, pammy,, sorry the post was not to detract from a reputable "buell shop".. especially those that sponsor this site "or others".. it was more, stating, that i hold nallins work in high regard. and was rather set back by a comparison of my work and there's. the original poster ask about the quality of their workmanship. my post was not meant to belittle any one else. or any other shops. only that many "local type shops in my area" treat sportys and buell the same. and not to belittle sporty vs buell people.. i have one of each and love them both equally and differently because they are not the same machines.. once again i am sorry if my previous post offended any one here including admin.. it was not meant to. sorry aaron, aaomy |

I just ordered some cams from them, got them in 3 days. That is better than any other source I've ordered from lately--here, ebay, unaffiliated shops, etc. Not sure how fast they do their headwork--I'll find out when the time comes for a top end--but their shipping won't hold ya' back. |

Please note the Nallins no longer work at NHRS (Nallin Racing). Brian is up at... Revolution Performance? (I believe) in Wisconsin and I have not heard from Richard in a while. I usually refer people to their local shop for work, tho it's best if you can get local referals for shops. Get them to follow a recipe from one of the major tuners. My local shop incidentally sends heads to WesPammy aka CycleRama for work. |
