a co-worker sent me a video of this guy Denny Klein that invented a way to turn H2O into HHO and use it to run a car. he went 100 miles on 4 ounces of water. here's a link to the site. http://hytechapps.com/applications/HHOS.htm |

Some german tv show had some scientists driving a van that had a balloon hooked up to the fuel line. The ballon held the gasses produced by manure. Interesting huh... |

Ummm... like a battery? Oh yeah! Well, can make fire from matches and paper! |

Taxman, After much research on the subject I haven't found anything that is in favor of the videos claims. I have been searching patent records and even though the Hydro Tech website claims that something they have has been patented there aren't any records on the us gov website that show that to be true. Also a co-worker did some similar research and found the patent info for the Electrolytic Carburetor, which back in the 30's was exactly the same thing as what this Denny Klein is talking about. Making hydrogen on the fly instead of having to travel around with a bunch of compressed hydrogen in a tank. Along with the patent info there are also diagrams and explanations as to how to make the carb work. The info I have came from Vanguard Sciences/KeelyNet and while it seems plausible I have to wonder why something so readily available has not been experimented with further. I'm not saying that whatever Denny Klein has invented won't work, but so far I haven't found anything to substantiate their claims. Burner |

I get a dipsheitte in my shop a few times a year with some cockamamy scheme to generate hydrogen, plumb it into the intake manifold, and thus gain 40 % economy. they usually want some assistance with amp draw/ wire size calculations or some control relay recommendations... it's all BS. the molecular binding energy of water is SYMMETRICAL, meaning very simply it takes JUST AS MUCH ENERGY TO BREAK WATER APART INTO HYDROGEN AND OXYGEN AS YOU GET BACK WHEN THE COMPONENTS ARE BURNED. there i said it in capital letters.you can screw around all your life with chemical batteries, fuel cells, hybrids from japan, etc. at the end of the day it will still take FUEL to move the load from point A to point B. |

It sounds just like this fool buddy of mine who was going to hook a generator up to an electric motor to make his electricity for his house and save money. |

You and your fancypants thermodynamics. That science stuff will never make you rich. |

Yeah, you missed the point...at least they're doing something.... Gaaah just typing that makes my brain hurt! Maybe this....stuff...will keep these people busy and keep them from trying to think of ways to further mess up the technology we have that actually works. Like gasoline powered internal combustion. |
