With your Buell Motorcycle? In the issue of Performance Bikes(Brit. mag)that I am now reading, its got a short intreview with one Erik Buell.(p.10) Says, and I quote 'We built 11,000 Buells last year.' The company is growing every year, but I'm trying to build bikes peaple fall in LOVE with. So the questin must be asked. Is Mr. Buell acomplishing this goal? Do you LOVE your Buell American Motorcycle? My old M2 Clone ,simple anser YES. I do miss that ratty ole bike. As for the X1 the jury is still out. I want to love it but for know its still jest a LOVE/HATE. |

It's a love I have to hide from people that wouldn't understand. Here... it's not so weird. I'm OUT and I'm LOVING it... Uh... that was kind of weird. |

Yes I do love my buell. will i buy another one when I end up selling it? NO or will i buy another harley davidson product. I have never owned another motorcycle with so few amount of mile and so many problems that should have bee done right when the bike was built. My buell has less than 13,000 on it and have replace the drive belt, both rockerbox gaskets, the front head gasket, voltage regulator bracket and the throttleboddy. I have owned over 25 cycles including a 52 BMW, a 68 Norton and a 74 honda cb 750 and none had has many parts break as my Buell. I guess it is a Love/hate relationship. I love to ride it but hate that it breaks. Will hate to sell it but will love to have a bike that doesn't break |

I LOVE my Buell. YES I have had to push her once. Yet I LOVE working on her. I love the fact that I can tear her apart and put her back together again and that she will run again, as well as before. The thing that I DO HATE about my BUELL is that fact that dealers are such a P.I.T.A. to deal w/ here. The only one nearby is 80+ miles away (and will not take a credit card over the phone; you MUST order all parts in person). Needless to say I do NOT deal W/ the dealer much. TOO BAD FOR THEM. "MJ" |

I LIKE my Buell, but my 54 year old back and neck definitely do not LOVE it! Recently I have been considering putting it up for trade for another "Geezer" Glide. One thing I DO love is that rush when it's spooling up the turbo around 4 grand and ya gotta hang the F___ on! Yee Haw! AL |

I love my Buell. Recently, I have learned how to do things on a motorcycle I never thought I could possibly do. Like drag knees and scrap pegs. Its a trusting relationship!

Yup. Wouldn't be very happy to part with it. And whenever I forget how much I love this bike, I only have to ride it to remember. No bike has EVER given me this grin. |

How can I love my 96 Ca S2? This bike's carb is a POS. The lump of a motor makes no power. I'm always afraid of dumping it on that sidestand. I HATE the self canceling signals. The trip odo is infuriating. The forks sound like they're made by some KKK psycho someplaced. And what about the Blasts? Sometimes I feel like I'm riding a one fisted proctologist. Every other time I turn on the ignition key, the odo ticks up by a tenth. WTF? It guzzles oil like it was using some total loss system. The suspension feels like a sponge balancing on a bar of wet soap. I heard someplace that love has something to do with putting up with something DESPITE all the reasons you shouldn't. Well, I'm not sure how, but I sure do LOVE my bikes. I hope to never have to sell 'em. -Saro |

I absolutly LOVE mine!!!! I love wrenching on it as much as riding it. I haven't had any issues in 2 1/2 years (knock on wood). My wife hates it for that reason though. She has actually told me that if it were possible, i would cheat on her with my bike. I had to laugh. She didn't think it was very funny. |

From the wife: "You love that D%&$ bike more than you love me" "No I don't" I say. Then I step into the barn and tell the bike it's alright, she is just cranky! Lord I need help. Hi, my name is Jim, and I love my Buell! I am in a Love/Love relationship: I love to flog her, and she loves me to flog her. |

My XB is definately my favorite ride (I own 7 bikes), if I had to replace it I would another Buell. Love? May have to reserve that for animate objects. |

once upon a time i would have said yes, but i have come to realize that it is just a high maintanance "three dressed up as a nine" (Trooper reference, CDN rock band from the 70's) Note: i still care for my S1, otherwise i couldn't ride it very far. |

DJ, the italian bike is fun, nostalgic and handles pretty good (for it's era) decent power (for it's era). It gets a lot of attention. The Buell handles like a dream, awesome suspension and power, brakes and way better rideing position. It gets a lot attention. I'd never sell the Laverda and ride it every nice day, but the Bell is way more fun. |
