I had a fellow call me today with a problem with his Force pipe. I know they aren't sponsors here, but he called Johnny with some integrity issues and Johnny wouldn't help. Does anybody have any issues with the megaphone area welds cracking? Does anybody have a Force that is damaged in the header that still has an intact megaphone part of their pipe and they just want to get rid of it? If so please email me, I'd appreciate it at JoeFrus@americanthunderbike.org |

Forget it. Trust me. Throw it in the trash. Please. That's what I did with mine... |

I bought a used one and the brackets on the megaphone had been cracked and re-welded.... |

They all will be cracked and re-welded. I posted some pics of mine a while back. The welds I made held up for nearly a year until I finally got tired of the lack of low end power. Search for "Force Pipe Fixed" over the last 500 days or so... |

Try these... After that... We also welded some round stock between the rear spoiler mounting bracket and the plate that was welded to the front exhaust mounting bracket (the hoop) to tie the two together. The entire rear right spoiler mounting bracket fell off after a while though anyway. I never replaced it. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/102872.html Good luck... |
