I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I currently have a Blast and looking to upgrade. Problem is I am 5'3". I have been looking at the XB12Scg and I am wondering if they make lower seats for it. I looked on the web and don't see any other lower profile seats. My husband has a 2000 X-1 (??) and I can handle it well but when it comes time to stop, life is a little more difficult. Does anyone have any info to help me out? We are going to Buell Demo Days in a few weeks, so I'd like to have more info before I go. Thanks for your help! | ||

My wife is also 5'3" and she sat on the XB12Scg and fit her perfectly. I think they already come with thier lowest seat, and the suspension set up to ride lower. She had both heels on the ground and the reach to the bars was very comfy for her. She liked it so much that I almost bought it, but first things first...she has to get a liscence. Riding around the hood on the M2 don't count. | ||

Come on up to Appleton later this week and I'll let you demo a 12SCG. They don't make a lower seat for it. If you can ride the X1 the SCG should be a piece of cake! | ||

Thanks for your help. I have to see what is going on this weekend to get up to Appleton (may have to work, gotta pay for a new bike!) but now I think I am feeling a cold, and a bit of a cough......... Yeah I'm thinking we might be up there! Thanks! |
