I live in Northern New Jersey!!I bought a 99 M2 I have a supertrapp pipe dont know how many disk pretty quiet.Has a 42mm Mikuni carb and I am putting on the carbon fiber can-ham with K&N filter. Bike runs well on highway but slow riding gives me a pop out of the carb and when is was colder out last week 48 degrees it was way worse then when 80 today.I spayed WD-40 by intakes not leaks That I heard idle did not change.I pulled the plugs looked pretty good but they are autolites I dont know how good that is. I'm thinking I my need to change my slow jet?? Running lean on bottom??? I ordered 27.5 and 30 jet and A 160 main I have not idea what is in there now or what comes stock. Any insight would be great and if anyone knows of a place in North Jersey for me to take my Bike let me know but I am not opposes to doing anything myself. Thanks and I really have learned a bunch about my M2 off of this Board it's great!! |

I would start off with the 30 pilot and 165 main. I'm running bigger cams but the stock jets in the HSR42 are for a Sportster and are totally inadequate. |

Also check which needle you have and what position its on! That made a very nice difference in slow-mid throttle exchanges! |
