Oldog, thanks. the t-shirt "collection" is a quilt that was raffled off here on BADWEB in 2004 to help young racer Cody Wood continue his quest to become one of this country's premier road racers. the quilt doesn't belong to me (altho it's not for lack of trying - i think Denise and i bought $75 worth of tickets) - the lucky owner is Dave Johnson, aka Spudman here on BADWEB, from Moscow, Idaho. i'll see if i can find a better photo. i can tell you that four of the shirts (all the shirts in the quilt were donated) were NOS items from my personal collection: - top row, middle, first American Sportbike Festival at Willow Springs, CA 1998 - second row, second from left, an early PACBOG shirt - bottom row, middle, SPLASH (SPort Lap Around St. Helens), 1998 - bottom row, far right, Blue Groove/Northwest, 1997 FB (Message edited by jerry_haughton on April 22, 2006) |

Posted by Shotgun on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 09:54 am: Quilt raffle ticket #246 wins! Cody mixed up all the ticket stubs last nite, closed his eyes and pulled #246. "Hey," he says, "that is just like Rossi's number only without the 2." The winner is David Johnson of Moscow, Idaho, also known here as SPUDMAN. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this project. All 250 tickets sold. GO CODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted by Jerry_haughton on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 10:02 am: Spudman, you suck. Ferris Posted by Kimberlie on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 12:11 pm: A sincere thank you to everyone who participated all in the name of Cody racing a national event. I wish I had a quilt to send to all of you, especially the people who wrote how much they love Buell's and would love to have a quilt like that. I will be sure to keep you all updated in the Tale Section with Cody and his racing results through out the rest of the season. Thank you again and a special thanks to the Sunset Thunder Club, Steve & Loni especially and to Blake for allowing the raffle to be hosted on his site. Kimberlie Wood Cody Wood |

Dave: I could fine (some here are familiar with the good old FINE system with the Buell patches) anyone who doesn't show up at Homecoming. BUY PINK HATS! One of the cooler Buell shirts was the Blue Groove NW. There were several that year that were really cool. Court |

Pink Hats? That is sooooo retro! I remember wearing pastel everything in the 80's If Don Johnson was wearing it it had to be cool right? (what were we thinking?) I think I'll stick with the new black and orange vented hat (BU66)
They have switched from the rubber patch to embroidery for the logo. |

Daves are more of these going to be available? I think that it would be a nice trinket for the collection. |

I don't give a damn how "fashionable" they are; there's no way in hell that I'll wear a pink hat. For that matter, a snowball stands a better chance of surviving unscathed in the aforementioned nether region than you have seeing me shelling out cash for one of those pieces of crap. A fad is a fad is a fad... Whammo would be proud! |

was at the Battley HD-Buell in Gaithersburg today. Right next to the pink hats they had some black ones with a decent sized pegasus silhouette and a small "buell" next to it. I'm not into hats, but it was one of the nicer ones I've seen |
