I had seen that site before I bought my Buell and it almost turned me away. I did a fair bit of extra research before buying one anyway. I figured it was the Blast that had issues given the rather low entry price. I am sure it has cost BMC more than a couple of sales. To Erik and BMC's credit they have not sued the pants off the turkey that posted that site. |

Yeah - one guy authors everything on that site and Concrete.com - lol - he's an example of how not to treat your bike, however, it is good that he cleaned up both sites really bad spelling errors. If only he was smart enough not to have all the letters written in the same style and syntax - lol - That site and its mirror - myconcrete.com - have been around forever - and prove nothing except that stupid people should not own motorcycles! GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

A load of Crap Site. I love my problematic Buell, who cares if bolts rattle loose, who cares if the belt brakes. Its all in the character of the bike. |

He's also an example of a person who has never made one iota of effort to get his bike fixed. He *may* have had some real problems, but I don't see anything that couldn't be taken care of easily. Some folks, you may have been following some of the other recent threads, are only happy when they are squealing. Court |

I read that two days before I drove to Tennessee to pick up my first Blast. I saw it as an idiot with no skills who bought a bike he shouldn't have. People with little to no clue bitch the loudest. You can quote me on that too. |

Some folks, you may have been following some of the other recent threads, are only happy when they are squealing That seems to be an accurate statement. |

I saw that site too. He is a complete tool. "tricky clutch"! ha ha ha ha! here is the TRICK: when you release the clutch lever, it engages the clutch. I took a blast for a testdrive and it was just about the most effortless bikes to ride. Oh and don't you love how google's context ads are all Buell and H-D? |

I remember seeing that site when I was looking to buy. Hmmm.... Still ended up buying my XB9. I too remembered that almost every model of something or another has a lemon. |

Isn't he the guy that claimed his rear sprocket 'exploded' while doing Highway speeds, at the same time his handlebars separated from the bike or some such? Don't worry, he still got it safely to the shoulder.. Anyone with any sense can read his one sided site and see A) He wrote all the 'complaints'.. B) He is so full of crap his fiction isn't even entertaining. C) He is clueless about.. well.. everything. Oh and if you're doing honest checking on Buells, you'll note there is not a single positive thing he has to say about the company or product. No one has ever sent him a positive comment? Please.. his claims (all of them) in my opinion are full of it. Anyone wants information on Buells.. This is the place for it.. |

I wonder why he has an axe to grind? Perhaps he had a legitimate gripe at first? It sounds like he went through all of the service bulletins and wrote worst case scenarios for each. Pully recall? hmmmmm... perhaps mine eplodes at speed...then..it bursts into flames! yes that's it. |

I did find that before I bought my Blast. I did a lot of further research and exploration (which brought me to badweb by the way) determined that a. he sounded like someone who really needed an ax to grind. b. He was spending a lot of time and effort putting time into b---hing about something I would have spent time correcting then riding. I even bought an ex riders edge bike. sure there have been some small issues but I delt with them fixed them and went riding and have been very happy. I would not have changed a thing.
