Always a pleasure riding with you. Glad I had someone to run with, you know those roads all too well. I think you should give the RC a try! |

The RC is a great bike and I have rode them before but I just love riding my X. She is just so much fun. |

Mountainrider- Your the man! I tell everyone that its the rider not so much the bike (unless its a buell ), and you prove it there. I love how you went after the RC just to show him whats up! |

Remember, I had a whole lot of throttle left on that 90 degree V-twin. An absolute monster! Plus we were just having a little fun anyway. That RC-51 is no slouch by any means. If anything I slowed to let ya'll see what a 51 looks like at speed!

The X is no match for the RC when it comes to power but power has nothing to do with the way I ride. I use corner speed to catch the faster bikes. Sunday you would jump out ahead of me using the power of the RC but I would slowly real you back in when the corners started coming up. That is just what I do. You are a very good rider and I think this summer we will have lots of fun. We will make each other better if we ride together. Feed back from other riders is great. We just do not want to get to racey on the street. My old body takes a long time to heal up anymore. |

true MR! I would love to ride some more this summer. I won't have the RC much longer so I guess you'll have to show me how to ride my XB9S instead. I would bring the Duc but it is a little slow, not to mention the lean angle isn't that much. Like I said if I didn't have that big ass 1000 CC V-twin you would have easily walked on away form me! Always a great time riding, next I'd like to ride with your friend on that KTM 950SM sometime too! |

speaking of RC51s I just found out that they are still making them (the dealer informed me that 05 would be the last year) the queer thing though... 06 model somehow gained 9lbs but lost 0.2 degrees of rake aside from that exactly the same... |
