I dont know that anyone really cares or not.. BUT, got my orders yesterday, and my checkout papers today. I will be moving to Corpus Christi next month...dont know the exact date...but hey...it will be sometime soon... I have been checking the weather in the area...and its averaging 70 degrees..man it will be nice to ride without wearing long johns..sweat-shirt...neck warmers..etc... Anyway..I am dont think there is anyone on this board from corpus christi...but...I will be soon... Sorry..I know this is a useless post..but I am hapy about finally being able to get out of virginia....and start over...this place is wearing on me... BTW...someone verify for me, that Texas did pass that law about lane-splitting...making it LEGAL.. PLEASE tell me its true... Chase |

Good luck down there Chase. Just remember, the next duty station will always be better and it all counts on twenty years. I hear you can still get a Texas sized bowl of chili down there for about $2.00. The Alaska sized bowl is $3.00. But you'll know you're there when you start seeing all those new style Texas license plates. They changed from the ones that say "The Lone Star State". Now they say "Texas - The Gateway to Oklahoma". In Spanish. I love a Texan with a sense of humor! Jack |

Watch out coming into town on I37, HWY 181, and on SPID...local police has speed traps set up since last week in Feb. Let me know when you get settled. |

Always approach or pass trees in Texas from the south. They all have a tendency to lean northward unexpectedly from time to time. This is because Oklahoma sucks. |
