I watched last night's show & Greg White made no mention of Buell when discussing the Daytona 200. He addressed Honda's, Yamaha's and Suzuki's efforts, but when it comes to Buell....nada. Not a word about the shakeup at the AMA or possible protests over eligibility by the whiners. I didn't get it until they went to commercial and said "Two Wheel Tuesday.... brought to you by Honda" I'm thinking we need a FOX Motorsports Channel. | ||

Nah, it couldn't have been filmed that long ago, it had Phillip Island WSB Race clips, which was just this past weekend, unless it was filmed in segments spanning almost a month. I must agree with you all though, I was pretty upset that he didn't mention the new XB-RR effort. | ||

Yep, there is a history of sorts of tapings made before following events and broadcast after said events have become public knowledge. There is even a bit of gamesmanship to the art of news releases, sort of the SunTzu of Marketing/Engineering collaboration.  | ||

Look at the show closely. Nothing more than short bits combined to fill that slot of time. The 'zuki piece was elluded to last week. Taped before the Phiilip Island racing and aired after the race weekend. imho it is just the race results that are done at the last moment. Just to make sure they are current. Next weeks show could be slightly comical. Especially if those Buells do pretty well. Would be kind of hard to explain just where they came from so suddenly. I think FOX owns SpeedChannel, TV,Vision. Whatever it's called now! I was kind of surprised no mention about the Buells too. But as they say "Money talks and bullshit walks". Still no respect. I think Erik Buell himself will have to murder someone from the Japanese Families that own the BIG 4 in order to be mentioned. Although they did have Mike C. on there a while back with his race XB. | ||

I think even if they win at Daytona, it will not make as big a story as the big four losing to some HD dealership from Bumfcuk, WI. | ||

Yeah?  I saw his shaved head at VIR last year, went to speak to him.  He was a little too busy apparently to talk about anything like trying to get more motorcycle related programing on NASCAR-TV(oops) Speed. Like let bikes have all of Tuesday again, not just a couple of hours? When he found out I rode a Buell,  he was off and running. When I yelled out his name and snapped a picture, he was frowning,  I guess he doesn't like having his picture taken..  Go figure.. | ||
