Careful with the family around that site everybody. Bad content. (Message edited by sandblast on February 28, 2006) |

If youi look real close the speedometer is in Kilometers per hour with the Miles per hour in the inner section. I would say its only doing about 240-250kph. |

MPH is on the outside and KPH is on the inside... here is a clearer screenshot of the speedo from the video its easiest to spot near the 70mph/110kph area I suppose its somewhat impressive but I must ask... WHY? |

Because they don't have huge testes like Anonymous from that other thread, and they have to make up for it by going really fast... Something about Einstein's relativity theory and mass increasing with speed... |

Look at the white lines going by as he lets off the throttle. It seems to me at 140mph they would be just a blur but you can see every one very distinctly! Sorry, I don't buy it. Even at full speed you can see each one clearly! (Message edited by Ragnagwar on March 01, 2006) |

Could it be poor video recording that gives the "snapshot" effect. I know on the cheap digital I used to have, I would be doing 55-65 MPH, but when reviewing it I appeared to be pushing 30mph. |

hmmm - nice vid but here's the thing - i've owned a hayabusa - and that speedo winds out to 180 - this one is obviously aftermarket as it pegs at 220 or so the fastest i ever went was 175 [i know i know, im stupid] and it took a minute to get there - and the bus wasnt struggling but it took some time and a nice long straight this guy [gal?] walks past the 200mph barrier like its not there it almost seems like a bike with a kph speedo gear had the gauge face removed... leaving all the workings of the kph gauge but having a mph face... that would indeed explain the almost impossible acceleration cause even a modded busa / zx12 wont just flatten 220 like its nobody's business well i dont buy it - its too stable ... too calm for 220mph my 2c -sau |

Sorry, look at his rate of speed increase as the revvvs are barely moving, I call BS. |

Also, look at how high the revs go after the speedo is done, he would have been going 300mph. |
