well a friend of mine's dad used to fly helecopters in the military and said i could borrow his flight suit and helmet to get a pic with the xb! once the weather straightens out for a bit and the rouds clear off some more i'll get ahold of my friends at the base and see if i can get it set up to take some pics with one of the planes or helecopters or something! D&D should be on it shortly also, so it'll finally sound mean too! |

Have fun with that no_rice, I wear one of those for a living and you're not going to want to give it back after you see how comfortable they are. Sam |

Rice, Somewhere here I have at least 3 Air Force Space/Missile Crew suits. Basically a dark blue flight suit but the pockets are a little different. You want one? I think they are like 40-long and 42-reg. Lemme know. Odie is right, just like PJs. Especially going commando. |

My cousin flew P3's for a while.. now he works for the US Customs department. He flew A6's before the P3's. I got me a tail hook off an F-18, still have yet to drive down to Texas to pick it up... Ahh the stories i have heard about the P3's.. ONLY NAVAL AIRCrAFT w/ A POOPER... |

If you can, get a flight helmet and O2 mask for the pic, too. |

yep, says he has the flight helmet and resperator also. never know though what i might be able to round up through my friends at the base also, lol. i'm just amazed at the amount of brand new jet engine parts and tools that get chucked when inventory is done and such. works good for me though, can always use spare starters/generators and such for the bike |

Spiderman, no drug runner hunts here, that's pretty much reserved for the east coast squadrons. Would be fun though, I've heard some good stories about those guys. Blackbelt, yes this plane has a pooper, albeit a non-functioning one. C-130's pooper works(flushes too, ours is a sealed off tank). Also, if you use ours, you owe the whole crew a case. And they will know that you did, smell travels fast in that plane at altitude. Been flying in the plane for about 2 years now and haven't used it yet!(knock on wood) Charlieboy, I love my bag, pickle suit, whatever anyone calls it, it's still wearing pajamas to work! |

Wow samiam! I didn't know for certain whether P-3s were still flying...My brother was stationed at Moffet Field years ago and flew in P-3s... I don't know too much more about what he did, but I got to look around one once... I was a little kid back then- |

Yeah, we're still flying all right! We will someday get a replacement plane, but that won't be for a few years, and even that will be just the first bird. Full fleet replacement with the MMA(Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft) should take a while still. I may not even be in the Navy then! |
