10:30am this morning two riders were traveling at a high rate of speed downhill when one of the riders caught a powerfull wind gust at the apex of a turn just above Waterman canyon (Santa Anas were strong today) and was blown into the path of an oncoming Lexus SUV. Passerby performed CPR for 20 minutes to no avail.

24 year old law enforcement officer, Sad day.

That sucks. On my way home too I heard that there was a wreck on the 91 between a bike and two cars, I dont know any details. I commute on a bike most days on the 91.

I spoke to the responding fire captain today and found out that wind was not a factor. The guy just ran out of talent. Still sad.
