Stupid can hurt, but the guy wasn't killed. It was very stupid, though. |

although the brakes lights near an intersection are an indication that the cager is doing something |

No turn signal needed. Look at the sign and the lines on the road, the road turns. Going straight is actually what would require a signal. The bike is 100% at fault. |

the road accually turned to the left.. so he was clearly not paying attention. It was a double yellow, w/ the main road doing a left turn. So the cager didn't need a signal since the road accually went that way, re-watch it and you will see the yellow lines following the curve. oops... |

There is also a road sign showing that the road turns that way. |

In addition to ignoring the road signs and passing over the double yellow, it looks like "Target Fixation" to me. I may be wrong, but it appears that he wasn't going all that fast and could have made the left turn. Where he would have ended up would be up to him and his skills. |

The cage also appears to have a right tail light out or his signal was on to go left. I watched several times and can not be completely sure but looks like it.

Looks like the bike riders fault. the road clearly goes left. a double yellow line which means no passing. The turn in the road doesn't require a signal. If the car had went straight it would have, it would have been like a right hand |
