I don't want this to go on forever either. I'm hoping Buellinmke has already been banned by now and nothing like this occurs again. The point you made about this thread being polite and free of malice though, is EXACTLY what I wanted to happen from the beginning.
There should be nothing wrong with non-bike related threads, and people shouldn't have to avoid them. They can be fun and intellectually stimulating. I enjoy watching a well-thought out debate, with valid points and evidence, free of pointless insults and such. Resorting to that level of non-intelligence only demeans the friendships this board serves to build. |

I love the differing opinions found on this board. I think on the whole the people I have met here are able to hold a better non-emotive argument than most any board I have seen. Maybe it is because people that buy Buells are just "smarter" than that jap bike crowd.........  |

That big DR650 is a PIG compared to say a DRZ-400.

i have received a nice e-mail from Mr. Grumpy/Innes, and it's apparent that i misunderstood his post earlier on this thread. it was decent of Innes to take the time to write, and i appreciate him doing so.
i have deleted one of my posts on this thread, and edited another, and apologize to Innes for going off on him - my emotions were running high at the time.
again, my apologies to Innes, and my thanks to him for taking the time to write and explain his viewpoint.
