I am now part of the American Iron Magazine staff. I will be writing a bi-monthly column on safety and riding skills. My first article will be in the June issue and it covers group riding (which will be the topic for the next as well). I went this past week to the offices for my photo head shot and meet the staff. This is pretty exciting for me. I really enjoy teaching the skills/safety side of our sport and to be able to write for a large publication is a great opportunity. So if you get the magazine and like what you see, pass a note to them about it. Now I do not know how my picture looks so have a little mercy on me. |

Well Done! Say, what's that on-line viewer site that hosts American Iron's on-line subscription? I think I still have a subscription but can't remember the web site. |

Congrats! If you are looking for a slant on group riding: I was riding on a East-West county road, with North-South crossroads every mile or so. Came up behind a group of riders turning left, and stayed to the right side of the lane to go around them. On-coming car (also turning left) assumed I was with the group - and turned directly in front of me. I think my sub-concious knew there was something wrong with the situation, and seemed prepared - I managed to stop, at the same time as she stopped blocking my lane. Had I been thinking, it probably wouldn't have happened... |

Congrats Gomo! I've noticed that AIM has been giving some good exposure to Buell. They seem to appreciate the nature of the beast for what it is. Good luck. Butch |
