I just finished the Long Way Round DVD...the one where Ewan Macgreggor and his buddy ride around the world on BMWs. What a great series, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who loves bikes or travelling. The disc has 7 one hour episodes plus extras...definitely worth $26. |

I just finished reading the book. It was pretty great too. At the end, there are DETAILED lists of what they did to the bikes, what they brought, what was in the support trucks, and EVERY place they stopped! oh, and it has PICTURES. |

Lowflyer - That's one of my favorite movies of all time! I want to buy "Long Way Round" but I am waiting for the 10-episode version, (supposedly due out this year sometime.) I've recently bought and watched "On Any Sunday" and "Dust To Glory" and now I want to go ride solo in the Baja. So after I watch "Long Way Round" I'm going to want to circumnavigate the globe. I'm so easily swayed... |

I was SO jealous the whole time I watched. I dream of someday being able to do that. I instead want to loop the Americas... |

Amen Charley, If I wasn't tied down with family (two dachshunds and a bull mastiff. I would certainly do the four corners and a lot in the middle in as much time as it takes. Semper Fi (are you doing your recruiting duty in Phoenix?) |

I purchased the 10 episode version from Amazon.ca (Canada)... Couple extra bucks for shipping, but you can have it now! (and VISA charged 2% international fee) 1 week from order to Florida delivery. |

Yep, I leave Apr 24 for school. My by name assignment to Phx isn't in the bag yet so my fingers are crossed. If I get Phx, I'll prolly still be out here in Yuma (part of the phx AO) The good news is I'll be getting my Uly with the extra income!!! YAY! Then some short adventures will be in order. Nothing like MacGregor, but a run to the mountains and back wont be bad for the soul. I'll only be able to do day trips as Sundays will be my only day off for 3 years... |

I'll only be able to do day trips as Sundays will be my only day off for 3 years As you well know there is plenty of riding to do around here on a Sunday. Just riding up to Prescott is good fun. |

I just got thru watching the DVDs! I haven't been this pumped since "On any Sunday"! What an adventure. I may even take a ride to the local Bmeer dealer and just sit on one those things. I know my feet won't touch the ground. But what the _____! |
