I have been thinking about switching my handlebars out because of the knife driving between my shoulder blades on long trips. Does anyone know hos this will affect my handling. |

Planning on going higher and possibly wider for long range comfort? If yes, I have found that this combo works great for comfort, handling is pretty much the same, but you will have to retrain your instinctive reflexes if you are pushing it in the twisties. The new Uly bar will be my next addition. It has a similar rise and width to what I currently have but has a relatively normal pullback. Too much pullback puts your wrists at a strange angle and that is what I have found to be the difficult thing to adjust to. Feels more like an old flat tracker and not as smooth making transitions in the tight stuff. Hope this helps. |

minimal impact on handling -- due to minimal weight shift front to rear |

Char, S2 bars will not fit on a stock M2. The forks and mounting are way different. You can install S3 bars (maybe that's what you meant in the title). They are a bit higher and moved back a bit from the stock M2 bars. Brad |

I've ridden an M2 with S3 bars and it's feels a lot different than stock. You sit bolt upright, maybe a little too upright without some sort of fairing. Check to see if you need S3 cables with S3 bars. |

Yeah they are S3 bars I got from Jason... me so short I doubt I would be upright even with those on there... but I like the way it handles now enough to leave it alone |
