i just got to thinking and figured i'd ask. is there any website or something, maybe even a book if i HAD to, lol, that showed all the different buell makes through the years. i am not as well informed on the pre xb buells as i would like to be. i dont honestly think i could tell you every buell make by site and i dont really like that idea. i hate to be less informed than i could be especially since most the people around here expect me to pretty much know almost all things buell for some reason. could be because im a rare breed (bueller) around here i guess.

lol. you going to be working sunday craig? going over to some animal fair thing over at the cattle congress with the daughter and thought id drop that brake lever back off. got a deal on one i couldnt pass up, so already swaped a new one on.

Went to giffs site what is on the front of the 1998 S1 lightnings airbox? Is this something that is missing off of my bike???

Garret,

That's the Euro 'snorkel' on the HDI Airbox. The S1 in the pic is definitely a Euro-spec model. I bet your S1 doesn't have the plastic rear fender and the hoop from the swingarm to the fender and back to the swingarm either...(it shouldn't as they are also Euro equipment).
