Finally today, I woke up to a work day with no fog or rain...so I got to ride to work today. When we had our first child I made a deal with my wife that I wouldn't ride in the fog or the rain (too much counting on me). And any of you that have experienced the Tule Fog in the central valley can understand the fog part of the deal... anyway, it was a GREAT feeling being back in the saddle...just thought I would share. |

weather was freakish here today no riding for me, it was pouring with crazy hurricane like gusts. i don't mind the rain so much but hurricane winds are too much for me. fog really sucks i hate not being able to see, i don't like to ride at night for that same reason. good for you though, riding the bike into work sure makes for a nice commute. |

I'd trade you guys some of our warm weather here in Austin, for some of your rain. |

High 50's - low 60's and clear - I rode the Road King to a shop for an insurance estimate. The wife was riding it thru Hollywood last Wed. and some scumbag ran a stop sign right in front of her, She locked it up and JUST missed hitting the pick-up, but went down in the process. The creep, as usual, left the scene. After the cops finally showed up to take the report, she rode it home. Bruises are healing nicely. Needs a new Shoei. It's COLD out there at 80 or so on the Freeway! Nice to be riding, nonetheless. AL |
