Tramp, I think you've got, like, an hour after you originally post to delete the post, then after that a custodian has to do it.
If there are any left that you want gone, ping me through my profile and let me know which ones and I'll take care of them for you.

No one was locked out.
Some of the posts since removed from this thread comprised some horribly malicious personal attacks, they were hateful, harmful, entirely calumnious, simply WAY over the top and in egregious violation of the policies of this discussion forum. I and other custodians were thus obliged to immediately stop and invest our personal time in order to confront the problem.
I removed all related posts though not all were individually offensive. But by themselves they had no place in this thread.
I sincerely apologize to the target of the offending attacks for not seeing them sooner and putting a stop to them. Waging personal attacks of any kind is entirely unacceptable on BadWeB. Doing so is grounds for loss of posting privileges. The matter at issue is now being considered by the custodians.
I am truly sorry Joe. I don't support nor condone nor tolerate the expression of such malicious and calumnious personal attacks anywhere I enjoy a say and especially not on BadWeB.
Please, in the future, no one should hesitate to call me on the phone should such a horrible violation of board policy again arise. My number is in the RAN listings. Seeking to do personal injury to a man's reputation as a result of such a ridiculous petty disagreement and about such trivial issues is beyond the pale.
I'll close with some pretentious advice to the most egregious offender involved here.
Assuming the worst intentions in others will tend to keep one always on the defensive. Add to that a wildly overblown sense of indignation, and hateful confrontation will follow one where ever one may go. Try the opposite. Yes, I speak from extensive personal experience on this. I ain't that important at all, no matter what I may say. |
