Gonna be there on the 14th.. I'm pretty sure that there are a few others heading there the same day.. I think Jose said he'd be there then.. Maybe we'll see each other then.. Maybe we could all wear identical knee pucks or something? |

Maybe we could all wear identical knee pucks or something? Or the orange Appalician Adventure shirt. |

Not sure if everyone was at the 'appalician'.. but that could work.. Or.. I suppose we could try something simpler.. Like, BadWeb Group Gawk at the Buell display at.. uh.. 12:00? I don't know.. Just one of those goofy ideas.. |

I'll be there the 14th. Maybe we could talk the Buell folks into letting us post a sign stating BadWeather.folks meet here Don |

Well, I'm number four of the North Carolina crew mention and will be wearing my Appalachian Adventure shirt. It appears that the number of us C3ers going on the 14th is up. At last count we have six, with four more considering. |

I'll probably end up going all three days, but if I can only go one day it will be Sunday. There's a few things going on downtown DC that weekend, taking the Metro is probably the simplest way to get to the convention center. Brankin/Carlos how did it work out for you guys last year? You want to take the Metro to the Mt. Vernon Square/Convention Center Stop on the Green/Yellow Line, or it's a short walk from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Stop on the Red line. |

Jose, Brankin and I are the ones who went last year and yeah, we're going to do the train again this year. It really worked out well, so why mess with success? Dave |

Then it's a 'sort of' consensus.. we'll all try and meet up there.. Should we try printing the 'name tags' and wearing those? hehehehehe.. Or maybe just a time and a meeting place would be best? What do you think Jose? (I can only go one day, so it'll be Saturday) |

Ok here's my idea. We should all make our own name tags and they should be in crayon. All should say BadWeb on them somewhere. |

Hey Jose, Is the Virginia Outdoor Expo, or whatever they call it, the same weekend in Chantily? I went to it 3 years ago and thought the sporting dog trials were way cool. Thanks for any info. |

Went yesterday, Sat, it was loads of fun. Good to see you Paul. My younger brother enjoyed sitting on a variety of motorcycles even though he'll be on a college kid budget if he gets his first bike. I loved sitting on all kinds of bikes. THe wife looked at the rear seat on the 12X and said I could get it. We'll need to test it out before that though and I would have to wait for another year of production goes by. If you all can go it's worth the trip at only $13/adult. Taking the metro was good and then having lunch at Union Station was neat. Don't get blown away with all these high winds. |

I went to the show Fri night. Not crowded at all! Talked to a few nice folks. Talked for about 45 mins with a few of the guys at the Buell display. One was an employee at the HD factory in KC that got put into a Buell shirt to work on that side of the aisle. Overall good guys. Talked to Joe from Warhorse Customs for a long time about his VRod builds and my S3 project. Nice guy, lots of knowledge, down to earth. Check his bikes at www.nawarhorse.com . Was cool to see the Glory Stomper from PM at the Cycle World display. Billy Lane was there too. Didn't bother talking to him, too many autograph hounds milling around to be able to talk bikes with him. Good show. Anyone going to Timonium next month? |

I went to the Baltimore show couple years ago. Will not go back. Only a handful of bikes and a whole lot of squeegy booths and leather jacket dealers. OCC was the big draw but it was a 2 hour line thru cattle gates for the chance to buy something and look at the bikes from 15 feet away. The Timonium show is on par with IMS but all U.S. bikes. BTW did anyone else get the T-shirt from Buell? Whats with the little hand thingy on the front? Oh well, it was free. |
