Dana & Spidey.... I'm not sure I'll have the time to get too involved in planning a 25th anniversary event. Plus, my guess is that BRAG learned their lesson with the first "cancelled" homecoming. That won't happen again! Therefore, a second event at the factory doesn't make any sense. But....if you guys really want to do something on your own, I'll lend my experience as a consultant. |

Brag website still have 2004 event photos shown. I heard they were waiting to post the schedule till after a dealers meeting. If so, that should change. Websites and dates need to be posted early for people to plan vacations with their companies, etc. REX |

I agree totally with you Rex. I do know that Peggy and Mary are and have been working at HOG and working Brag in there free time sorta speak. They need someone in doing the job. If they are infact doing Daytona they should of had that out and published already. People already have made there reservations whether they shall be there or not. Laguna won't happen I already know that.... I asked Mary about that personally. |

25th Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha here I come. I'm gonna have trouble this year getting away and I already promised Roger and Grumpy I'd ride with them in September. I'm thinking of buying a house next week so my funds are going to be limited. Those two nuts want to ride across Labrador in the middle of September, I hope we have snow suits and real good tires. Labrador that time of year the days are real short, nights long and the bears are hungry. AND, I won't be doing it on a S1 again, that was bad on the rear end. |

Newfie, take a Ulysses for a test ride. I did; now I own one. If you could ride the S1 to the 20th, you'll find the Uly almost orgasmic. |

Buell was late on the trigger this year with the announcment of Homecoming. I'm not certain they understand the need for Euro/Aussie folks to plan holiday well before the end of the year. The last issue of Fuell said simply "June", this most recent nailed the dates. I'm not depending on or waiting for Peggy and Mary, with their corporate constraints, to announce anything for Daytona. I'm just gonna fly in the day before the race and show up. If I end up seeing "nothing spectacular or of note", well then I've had a great time and seen the Daytona 200. But, I'd be willing to bet I am going to see "a moment" in American Motorycle racing history. I could be wrong, but if I am . . I'd rather be wrong at trackside. Hehehehehe....the last time I went to see something spectacular, I did. A 37 minute rear wheel change. OUCH.

Don't feel bad CJ. I have called three times since November to see why I haven't got an issue yet. I'm lucky that Dave can just bring one home. I don't know what the deal is. I get Hog Tales and Enthusiast no problem. I was told that they come from the same place. |

For those who have not received the latest FUELL in the mail: Daytona, March 6-11: BRAG will have a hospitality area at the Ocean Center, show your BRAG card there & get a gift, then sign up for a chance to win VIP credentials and seats for two to the Daytona 200. Buell will also have their Demo truck at the Speedway. Homecoming June 2-4: Seminars, factory tours, rides, plus more, all FREE, other than the tickets to get into the AMA Races. Wicked Twisty Tour: A very interesting idea: "BRAG will be asking local clubs to provide information on existing activities that could be considered a "Wicked Twisty Stop." BRAG and Buell motorcycle Company representatives will attend and promote these local events" March Badness is a given. Has Erik ever been to Rolling Thunder in DC? He could ride with a bunch of Buells while testing the the parade heat handling capabilities of a Ulysses on Sunday then come with us to the Thunderbike Race at Summit Point on Monday. P.S. at this moment I'm not planning on going either to Daytona or Homecoming; Barber, Laconia and Road Atlata are more likely (Message edited by josé_quiñones on January 08, 2006) |

Jose, Thanks for the Fuell update. It's too bad you can't make the Homecoming this year. I will look for you at Summit Pt. |

Anyone want to have a BBQ at the casa de Vegas during bike week? The pool will probably still be too cold for a swim, but I am sure we could pass the time with a few beverages and some brats on the BBQ. Just an offer. I also have room in the garage should someone need out of the weather for wrenching, etc. Nick |
