That's the signature series price. After that the prices drip down to $10,000. |

I really like the tail section, the way the stop light is integrated. The 12R would look cool like that. |

Yeah.. I was thinking the same thing. That tail section would look badass on an R.. I think it might even look good on an XB. We need a photochopper... |

styling reminds me of the "new" vincent prototype with the rc51 motor. |

Slip that tail section onto an S2 and M2 while at it if someone doesn't mind. |

That look really good. The specs look REEELY good though: http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com/bike/bike_961specs.asp I really like this. Who wants to buy me one? .....edit..... Is this the same outfit that had a prototype video out that was pulling roll-on wheelies coming off of corners? (Message edited by natexlh1000 on January 05, 2006) |

Here is the Norton I am restoring for my boss. Wheel hubs are off to chrome, and a few more things went out for powder coat. A big ol' box of parts showed up today whoo hoo. I think I am going to have to buy this bike off of him when I am done LOL |

That's the view I remember of most Nortons, yup, but generally with a bigger oil puddle underneath! |

Innes- I concur, I've always wanted a Norton since I was 16. A buddy had an 850 Commando that blew me off the road every chance he got. Since my Buell's been so reliable I don't think I could go to all that maintenance. |

Actually, the Norton Tail looks pretty good on a Lightning too. Especially attractive to old timers who cut their teeth on English Iron back in the day.

I think the XB needs gages like that... Frickin SWEET! Not the chrome part... just the needles and background. I wonder if there are any old Commandos for sale around here... |

Looks pretty slick! I would love to catch a ride on one. I would be worried about repair/maintenance. I try to do most of my own work, but sometimes I can't avoid the dealer...where would you go with one of these?
