I saw this video a couple years ago. It was used in a motorcycle awareness presentation. http://viscog.beckman.uiuc.edu/grafs/demos/15.html Count how many times the white team passes the ball. When you think you have the answer scroll down....... Did you see the Gorilla? When I first saw this video there were 30 people in the room and only 2 saw the gorilla. Same with a cager & a motorcyclist- Unless their told to look for a motorcycle they aren't going to see one cuz their too busy watching what they were taught to watch- the other cars. |

OMG! I didn't see the gorilla and neither did my wife, until we watched it the second time. A matter of being too focused on the ball counting. |

heh heh heh, that was fun... i saw the gorilla, but i didn't SEE it... as my eyes were watching the ball my brain said "hey, a gorilla, that's weird." then promptly forgot about it. watching it a second time, i realized how long the gorilla was actually there. very interesting cognitive exercise... thanks for sharing! |

I saw the Gorilla, but I thought it was there to mess up my count so I didn't pay much mind to him. |
